Investment under the national development programmes operated by BIM amounted to E51 million in 2004, supported by national and EU grant aid of E17m.
The fleet and fisheries sector received E10.3m on investment of 34.5m, with aqua-culture grant aided to the tune of E5.3m on investment of E12.3m.
