Awards recognise real world utilities

TECHNOLOGICAL advancements have been recognised with a string of awards, presented by University College Cork to mark entrepreneurial achievement.

Boffins around Cork have been beavering away at producing technologicaladvancements which have real world applications.

This year’s winner of the Best Overall, Best Technology and Best Staff awards went to the Éiremat/GlanTeo team, which will use protected technology to produce high value, nano-scale porous materials for high-technology industry, including the pharma/chemical and IT sectors.
