€26m shopping centre goes ahead

Planning permission for a €26 million shopping centre in Ardee has been granted.

Construction of the new centre, which will be owned by Lanney’s SuperValu, will begin in July and it is expected to be completed by next Easter.

It will create 100 new jobs and add 22,000 sq ft of new retail space.
