IDA show net loss of 3,011 jobs this year

MORE jobs continued to be lost in IDA-backed companies in 2003 with a net loss of 3,011 recorded over the period.

As foreign direct investment moved to cheaper locations the number of jobs lost totalled 12,193.

That compares with the creation of 9,182 jobs resulting in a net loss for the year of over 3,000.
