Firms shortlisted for €250,000 prize

InterTradeIreland have announced the 18 companies from the Republic of Ireland shortlisted for the regional finals of the third All-Island Seedcorn Business Competition 2005.

The €250,000 competition has received hundreds of expressions of interest. Seven regional and one overall winner will be announced at the final in Dublin on December 6.

Shortlisted companies will compete for seven regional prizes of €20,000 to finance the early stages of their venture and an overall prize of €100,000. A discretionary award of €10,000 will be given to ventures stemming from university spin-outs and platform programmes.
