THE days of the Celtic Tiger may not be over, according to a leading economist.

In a new report on the health of the economy, Dan McLaughlin, Bank of Ireland’s chief economist, predicts Ireland will grow faster than Europe, Britain and the US.

Dr McLaughlin forecast that Irish GDP would grow by 4.5% this year, up from a an estimated 1.5% increase in 2003.
