FÁS works with EU accession states to educate migrants on travel pitfalls
FÁS, the national training and employment authority, has begun working with the latest EU accession states to ensure workers do not get into difficulties after travelling to Ireland.
The agency is working with authorities from the latest 10 EU accession states including Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia to put new measures in place to aid migrants. The authority said non-nationals make up 8% of the workforce and will be needed in the future to ensure Ireland's continuing economic growth.
