Factory gate prices increase by 1.1%

New figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) showed factory gate prices increased by 1.1% in March 2004.

This compared with a fall of 0.5% recorded for March last year. The annual percentage change showed a decrease of 5.1% in March 2004, which followed a decrease of 6.6% the previous month.
