Exports rise 9% to €7.3bn in February

Irish exports rose to €7.3 billion in February, an increase of 9% from January, according to seasonally adjusted figures released from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

Imports, however, were up only 1% on the month at €3.85bn. Preliminary indications for March 2004 show seasonally adjusted exports of €7.31bn, unchanged from February.

Imports stood at roughly €3.62bn, down 6% on the month.
