Irish credit card debts hit €2.1bn

AROUND €2.1 billion is outstanding on two million credit cards in Ireland, according to the Central Bank.

Information solutions company Experian said research in Britain showed that 17-25 year olds are the worst at pre-Christmas budgeting, with 30.6% admitting to not budgeting sufficiently, compared to an overall average of one in five people.
