Carlow: Next Saturday March 27 will see the start of the first all-Ireland 24 hour programming competition.

Targeted at students from third level Universities and Institutes and sponsored by big names like Dell, O2 and Microsoft, the competition is set to be a big hit.

Student programmers from all over the country will gather at the Institute of Technology Carlow to participate in the 24 hour competition which will run from 2pm Saturday to 2pm Sunday March 28.
