Central Bank predicts 3.25% GNP growth

THE Central Bank has forecast 3.25% GNP growth for 2004.

Its figure is lower than the 3.8% prediction from Davy Stockbrokers and the 3.5% also forecast last week by AIB Group.

However despite some concern being expressed over the level of personal debt the bank says the outlook overall for the economy has improved.
