Economic prosperity depends on skills of workforce, says HEA

IRELAND’S future economic prosperity will be built on the skills and knowledge of its people, a top-level study has concluded.

If the country is to continue to prosper in the decades ahead, it has to rely on the skills and the intelligence of its workforce.

These are the main conclusions of a report from the Higher Education Authority (HEA). “Creating and sustaining the Innovation Society” from the HEA believes the omens are good.
