ISEQ gains for fourth consecutive day

SHARES in the Irish Market rose for the forth consecutive day. The index added 40.32 points to 6686.5 at the close.

Eircom surged advancing 31c to €2.40.

In construction, CRH announced the acquisition of three US materials companies. The share price responded, rising 30c to €21.89. Elsewhere in the sector, Kingspan and Grafton Group also ended the day in the black, 14c and 3c higher respectively.
