M&S poor trading continues

M&S was said to have seen double-digit percentage falls in sales at the divisions. However, the group will not update the market on current trading when it releases annual results on Tuesday.

Investors are already prepared for poor trading news, with analysts at Barclays expecting M&S to unveil profits of £621 million (€904m) down from £751m (€1.09bn) the year before.
