Economy has gone ‘ga ga’, says expert

THE latest crop of statistics on house prices, credit growth and jobs, all point to a dynamic economy, according to a top economist.

The 96,000 increase in jobs has pushed the numbers at work to over two million for the first time.

Chief economist with IIB Bank, Austin Hughes, said the raft of statistics all point to an economy that has gone “ga ga”.
