Minister launches training initiative

MINISTER for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Michéal Martin, launched the FÁS One Step Up Initiative yesterday.

This One Step Up initiative is the latest stage in the Government’s campaign to ensure that Ireland’s training and education systems continue to provide the skills our people will need to prosper in a globalised, knowledge-based economy.

The Government has provided FÁS this year with €35 million for the training of those in employment.
