PAY increases for top bosses are rising at close to twice the rate of inflation, according to a new report.

The Irish Management Institute (IMI) report says senior executives received a 5.5% salary increase in the past year and are likely to see their pay rise by 6% next year.

The pay hikes are twice the rate of inflation and more than employees have received under the national wage agreement.
