Economists predict further dollar slide

ECONOMISTS are divided on how the US economy will pan out next year, but they all agree that the US government is determined to let it slide.

“The simple fact of the matter is that a weaker dollar is crucial in helping to rebalance the global economy”, said Alan McQuaid of Bloxham Stockbrokers.

In the meantime, he believes the stock markets will continue to give investors a reasonable run for their money.
