THE Irish services sector of the economy has hit its lowest growth level in the past four months, the latest data shows.

While services continued to grow in December, it was at a weaker rate than in the previous months.

Compiled from data supplied by 600 Irish companies, the NCB Purchasing Managers Services Index fell to 52.7 - its lowest level in four months.
