Kingspan Group, an Irish maker of flooring and insulation panels whose clients include Tesco, aims to double sales by 2008 as tougher environmental regulations boost demand for heat-efficient building materials.

Kingspan expects to double sales

European Union legislation to be introduced in 12 months in an effort to meet targets set by the Kyoto Protocol on climate change will require buildings to be tested for energy loss. That will oblige companies to spend more on insulation, Kingspan’s co-founder Brendan Murtagh said in an interview in Dublin.
