Bull market looks good for 2004

THE bull market is alive and the prospect for equities in 2004 is looking good, Friends First chief economist Jim Power predicted yesterday.

Bull market looks good for 2004

Reviewing 2003 and looking ahead to 2004, Mr Power said: “At the end of the day, 2003 turned out to be a very good year and brought the three-year losing streak to a halt. The prospects for 2004 look reasonably good.”

Mr Power believes the economic recovery story should remain on track and give more support to growth in corporate earnings.
