CSO delays retail sales figures

The Central Statistics Office said it would delay the release of retail sales figures for April for a second time because of “technical difficulties”.

The figures, including final statistics for March and initial estimates for April, were scheduled for release today. They will now be published on July 2. The CSO already deferred the publication from June 15 after too few companies returned survey forms.
