Market again records drop

THE ISEQ Index slipped back yesterday for the third consecutive day. The Dublin markets closed down 13.33 points to 6736.19.

Market again records drop

The financial sector fell back with AIB dipping 7c to €17.18 and Bank of Ireland remaining flat at €12.90. Anglo Irish dropped 3c to €11.05 while Irish Life & Permanent weakened 5c to €15.30.

Paddy Power announced in its half-year trading statement that profits have been adversely affected by racing results and the share price fell €2.95 to €10.40.
