SEVENTEEN people are to lose their jobs at Frentech Engineering, a sheet metal fabrication company in Waterford city.

The company said a significant portion of Frentech’s core business had been lost and management was left with no option.

Frentech Engineering, set up 15 years ago, employs 48 people.
