Exports up 2% as imports jump 6%

Dublin: The Central Statistics Office said exports in November increased by 2% over October, while imports jumped 6% in the same period.

Exports rose from €7,034m to €7,151m and imports rose by 6% from €3,906m to €4,144m.

Preliminary indications for December 2003, show seasonally adjusted exports of €6,940m down €211m (-3%) and imports of €4,220m up €76m (+2%) relative to November 2003.
