Esat BT wins €5m Primark contract
Primark said it will make substantial cost savings on its voice calls through the introduction of an internet protocol (IP) virtual private network (VPN) to carry both voice and data traffic.
The retailer said the managed service will enable it to consolidate its applications onto a single network while prioritising its traffic across its 118 stores in Ireland and Britain.
Primark network manager Enda Gallagher said: “In today’s fast-paced retail environment, we required a network that can expand and contract easily in line with our own expansion strategy.”
