Ryanair offers half-price seats

Ryanair has announced a half-price seat sale on all of its 161 routes. Bookings must be made before next Thursday.

Tickets must be bought at least 14 days before travel and the offer carries certain restrictions governing flights at peak times.

The company has also launched a new direct travel insurance website, ryanairtravelinsurance.com.

The company will offer insurance to residents of Britain and Ireland and will feature additional levels of cover for cancellation or curtailment, medical treatment expenses, baggage, catastrophe cover, hotel services failure, collision damage waiver and travel disruption.
