Retail sales volume dips by 1.9%

THE volume of retail sales fell by 1.9% in September, the Central Statistics Office has revealed.

Retail sales volume dips by 1.9%

However, they increased by 3.2% compared with September of last year.

Excluding the motor trade, there was an annual increase of 2.7% in the year to end September and a monthly decline of just 0.4% for the period.
