IRISH businesses need to change their approach to electronic business to survive, Enterprise Ireland warned yesterday.

The business development agency said greater use of ebusiness would force companies to better manage their computer systems and be alert to threats arising from new technology.

Enterprise Ireland ebusiness manager Lorcan O’Sullivan said computers were now a central part of business and were as important to daily operations as staff and electricity supply.
