Irish invest €1bn in British property

Irish investors are pumping more than e1 billion per annum into the British property market, according to IIB Bank.

IIB homeloans director Richard Sloane said the bank’s British business had grown by 50% year-on-year over the last two years.

“This is a reflection of the increase in levels of British property being purchased by Irish investors,” he said.
