Exporters suffer mixed fortunes

EXPORTERS have enjoyed mixed fortunes this year with a rise in January pulled back a month later.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office, show exports grew by 4% in January, compared to the same month last year.

However, the gains were eroded somewhat in February, declining by 0.3% from the previous year.
