Ryanair increases seat sales

No-frills airline Ryanair, which announced second quarter profits of €52.6m on Tuesday, said yesterday that it sold 90% of available seats during July.

This was up from 85% in July 2003 and meant the company filled 83% of seats over the 12-month period. The airline carried almost 2.5 million passengers during the month, 22% more than the same period last year.
