Lack of training risks jobs - IBEC

BUSINESS and employers’ group IBEC has warned that Ireland is falling behind competitor economies in provision of training and this is putting jobs at risk.

IBEC called for sustained investment from government and employers and engagement by stakeholders to agree a national human resource and skills development strategy.

This must ensure skills are matched to future needs and assign responsibility for action.
