1.5m deal for Eurovet

IT COMPANY E-blana has signed a 1.5m contract to deliver Eurovet, the company’s livestock traceability system, to Lithuania.

1.5m deal for Eurovet

The Eurovet system will be adopted by the Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service as part of a range of measures being taken by the country in preparation for its accession to the EU.

E-blana’s chief technology officer, Michael McGrath, said it was a very significant contract and underpinned the suitability of Eurovet in terms of meeting current legal requirements as well as providing public health assurance and animal welfare transparency.
