Ladbrokes profits fall to €4.4m

OPERATIING profits at betting chain Ladbrokes’ Irish shops fell 30% to around £3 million (€4.4 million) in the first six months of the year.

Ladbrokes’ Irish revenues were 19% higher but total costs rose 9% as the chain expanded here.
