10,000 register for disposable card

MORE than 10,000 customers have registered for the disposable credit card in recent weeks according to permanent tsb.

The bank has confirmed the nationwide rollout of the world’s first disposable credit card (3V) has now been completed. 3V is now available in approximately 1,000 shops, supermarkets and petrol stations across the country. Rollout began just four weeks ago.

A 3V Voucher is designed to let customers purchase goods and services over the internet or by phone regardless of whether they possess a traditional credit card or not. Such purchases have traditionally been restricted to credit card holders.
