DAX boosted by upward Continental drift

GERMANY’S DAX index rose for a third day in four, led by Continental. The benchmark DAX added 26.86, or 0.6%, to 4679.89 in Frankfurt, its highest close since June 2002.

Twenty-four stocks gained on the 30-member index. DAX September futures climbed 0.2% to 4699. The HDAX Index of the country’s 110 biggest companies rose 0.5% to 2415.98.
