Ryanair passenger numbers up 45%

Dublin: Ryanair said it carried 1.87 million passengers during February, a 45% increase on February 2003.

But the airline’s load factor, the number of available seats sold, fell from 81% to 77% as passenger growth failed to match the increase in the airline’s aircraft fleet.

The number of seats sold through the company’s website went up from 94% to 97%.
