Island reports positive drilling results off Schull

NATURAL resource explorer, Island Oil & Gas said its latest drilling results in its Schull gas field off west Cork were better than expected.

As a result Schull could become a “standalone development” the company said yesterday.

Gas flows were “significantly better” than the projected flows prior to drilling, said chief executive Paul Griffiths.
