Tipperary woman crowned Miss Ireland

Tipperary woman Aoife Walsh has been crowned Miss Ireland.

23-year-old Aoife from Clonmel beat 23 other contestants to claim the prize in Dublin last night.

The judges at last night's ceremony included Virginia Macari, former miss world Olivia Treacy and former Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey.

The star-studded show also featured a performance from X Factor star Mary Byrne.
