Man seriously injured in Bray shooting

Update: A man has been shot and seriously injured in a gun attack in Bray, Co Wicklow.

He was sitting in a car on St Laurence's Terrace when he was shot a number of times through the side window at 8.45pm on Wednesday.

The occupants of a dark-coloured car who fired the shots then drove from the scene.

The man believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s has been taken by ambulance to hospital where he's in a serious condition.

Gardaí are at the scene which has been sealed off.

They're appealing for witnesses to contact Bray Garda Station.

Earlier (9:24pm): A man has been shot and seriously injured in a gun attack in Bray, Co Wicklow.

The incident happened at 8.45pm Wednesday night on Saint Laurence's Terrace.

The victim is understood to have been shot in the chest and paramedics were tending to his injuries at the scene.
