In one sense, you have to forget. You have to forget the memories of the old Renault 4.
Which is hard, of course. Hard, because the original Renault 4 was not only one of the best-selling cars of all time — finding more than eight-million homes in the 30 years that it was in production — but also because it was actually, for a time, made in Ireland, in Renault’s factory in Wexford.
