Person detained over disappearance of Nancy Guthrie

The Associated Press reported two people had told them the person was detained in an area south of Tucson on Tuesday.

A person has been detained for questioning in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, officials said on Tuesday.

Deputies detained the person during a traffic stop south of Tucson on Tuesday, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
