Israel’s rescue service said one Israeli has been killed and three wounded in an attack at a West Bank intersection.

The Israeli military said the ramming and stabbing attack took place at a busy junction south of Jerusalem.

Israel’s emergency rescue services said three people were wounded and taken to hospital.

It came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday applauded the United Nations’ approval of the Trump administration’s blueprint to secure and govern Gaza, while Hamas rejected the plan as a foreign instrument of control.

The resolution that passed the UN Security Council on Monday authorises an international stabilisation force to provide security in war-devastated Gaza, approves a transitional authority called the Board of Peace to be overseen by President Donald Trump and envisions a possible future path to an independent Palestinian state.
