JD Vance’s hope his Hindu wife converts to Christianity sparks interfaith debate

Vice President JD Vance’s recent comments that he hopes his Hindu wife would one day convert to Christianity have sparked debate about the challenges facing interfaith couples in the US.

Experts who have counselled hundreds of couples who do not share religious beliefs say the key is respect for each other’s faith traditions and having honest discussions about how to raise their children.
