OpenAI is facing seven lawsuits claiming ChatGPT drove people to suicide and harmful delusions even when they had no prior mental health issues.

The lawsuits were filed on Thursday in California state courts and allege wrongful death, assisted suicide, involuntary manslaughter and negligence.
