Red Cross says it has transferred unidentified remains of three people to Israel

The Red Cross said it transferred the unidentified remains of three people to Israel late on Friday but they were still being examined and may not be those of missing hostages, an Israeli military official said.

The source said the remains had earlier been turned over to the Red Cross by Hamas in Gaza.
