27 people have been hospitalised after a ploughed into a crowd of people during Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade. 20 other individuals sustained minor injuries. Four children are among the injured.

A 53-year-old man was arrested following the incident. Merseyside Police said the suspect was white, British and from the Liverpool area and it is understood Counter Terrorism Policing North West are supporting the force.
