More than 30 killed as Israeli military operation in Gaza Strip expands

Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip is expanding to seize “large areas”, defence minister Israel Katz has said.

The expansion comes as officials at hospitals inside the Palestinian territory said Israeli strikes have killed more than 30 people, nearly a dozen of them children.
